Fellowship? The Lack Thereof

 The following seven areas contribute to the lack of real fellowship among people. Which contributes the most?

1. Technological Overuse and Digital Substitution


2. Economic Inequality and Financial Stress


3. Decline in Civic Engagement and Community Participation

4. Urban Design and Lack of Social Spaces


5. Health Challenges and Aging


6. Discrimination and Social Exclusion


7. Cultural Emphasis on the Individual

  1. I think #3 and #7 are the most influential in our Fellowship” crisis at this date and time. The word church is a collective noun and so is community. Scripture calls us to “be” the church and live peaceably in community with one another! It’s not new, but is somewhat foreign to many.
