Love

Love is something

We all need to share.

Without it we’re nothing

And full of despair.

It’s not love of THINGS

That fills our vacuum.

Love for each other

Puts love into action!

There’s no fulfillment

To love only things.

Love DEMANDS action.

With it joy bells ring!

Giving love to others

Springs right from the heart.

God is ALL love

That never will part.

Gain strength by knowing

God loves us and still,

We need love from others

And give love at will.

Love gives assurance—

Without it we’re LOST.

Christ loved us all—

It came at a cost!

Lonely and longing

For acceptance true.

Without it we’re lost—

Don’t know what to do.

YES, we need love

From God and others.

Give of yourself

To your sisters and brothers.

You will benefit

When freely you give.

Makes life happier

As long as you live!
